Hi, my name is Val Ibarra and I’m a writer for The Blazer! My love for Joliet Junior College has prompted me to join The Blazer team and help shine light on our beloved community! When I am not writing, I’m at track practice, rehearsing lines in the theatre, attending Latinos Unidos meetings, or completing ‘Vice President of Scholarships’ duties for our school’s chapter, Phi Theta Kappa!
